"Tiffany's pure country voice and genuine personality endears her to audiences and her peers alike. She is a true country girl with a true country voice."

Tiffany Dowhan, 2007 Canadian Country Music Week Roots Showcase Artist is one of the most unique women in the Canadian Country Music Industry. When you hear her sing, you know it's her, she's so distinctive. Tiffany loves to play guitar, sing and write about the things closest to her heart. Her love of rodeo, horses and the cowboy heritage influence her life and the kind of music that she likes to sing and play.

"I am proud to sound different and stand out in the vast amount of female artists that are out there today. I like to be compared to a Dolly Parton or a Leanne Womack, because when you hear them sing you know it's them." says Tiffany. "I enjoy artists like, Johnny Cash, Ian Tyson, Cindy Church, Chris LeDoux & Corb Lund. They are all unique artists that are proud of who they are and where they come from."

Tiffany was raised in the Radway / Thorhild area, a small farming community northeast of Edmonton, Alberta. She now resides near Bonnyville, AB on her husband's family farm. Since a young age, singing has been Tiffany's passion. Whether it was classic country, bluegrass, rock or even Ukrainian, it was all music and she loved it. Tiffany has very fond memories of listening to music through a heater vent. Right now you're probably asking yourself~ "a heater vent!!" Well, her dad's family band practiced in their basement and bedtime was just to early. A heater vent was a speaker to a world of the electric guitar and an old time accordion, a memory that would inspire Tiffany into a world of music.

Tiffany DowhanIn February 2006, Tiffany released her first single "Sweet Dreams" to Canadian Radio, produced by Derek Stremel. "Doing the project was definitely a learning experience. I now feel comfortable with my high range and uniqueness of vocal. Recording also taught me how to connect to a song better vocally. Picking the song was tough; however song choice was determined by my outgoing personality, my personal background and my unique vocal. "Sweet Dreams" and "Hey Cowboy" will always be my favorites because they relate to my life and my experiences and they truly display my unique vocal." says Tiffany. Tiffany released "Hey Cowboy" in November of 2006 and in February 2007 it hit #1 on 790 CFCW's Weekly Top Canadian Singles.

Tiffany's latest single Wagon Trails to Glory, is doing well on Canadian Country Radio. Wagon Trails to Glory is a tribute to the late & great World Professional Chuckwagon Driver, George Normand and is written by Tiffany's grandmother Mereline Griffith. Tiffany was honored when one of her idols, Cindy Church graced the song with her amazing harmony vocals. The song is close to Tiffany's heart, as CD's are being sold across Alberta to help raise funds for the Bonnyville Chuckwagon Association & the construction of their new Chuckwagon Track. The song is a wonderful way to remember George Normand and to help build the Chuckwagon Track, something that George always wanted in Bonnyville.

Tiffany was awarded the 2005 North American Country Music Association International (NACMAI) Female Vocalist of the Year for Traditional Country in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. She was inducted into the Global Country Rising Star Program in the spring of 2002 and is now an Alumni member. The Global Country Rising Stars have played a part in securing major events in and around Alberta. She has entertained crowds at the Canadian Finals Rodeo, the Calgary Stampede, Ponoka Stampede, Capital Exhibition, Big Valley Jamboree, Farmfair International, The Farm & Ranch Show, The Winspear Centre, Festival Place, Horizon Stage and the Country Tonight Theatre in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.

Tiffany is and will always be a humble, small town country girl that always remembers who she is and where she comes from.
